International Convention on The Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (icerd) in Election Law
Adopted in 1965, ICERD is a United Nations convention that commits its members to the elimination of racial discrimination and the promotion of understanding among all races.
Brown v Board of Education for Topeka Case (US)
In relation to the brown v board of education for topeka case (United States) and constitutional law, Stephen M Feldman[1] made the following observation: For a quarter-century after World War II, Brown v Board of Education for Topeka (1954) was unquestionably the most renowned case of the Supreme Court of the United States. Brown held that racial segregation of children in public schools violated the United States Constitution (racial discrimination). More broadly, Brown undermined the enactment and enforcement of 'Jim Crow' laws, which mandated racial segregation in a host of public accommodations, ranging from buses and schools to parks and water fountains.
